Well since I know a lot of you all don't know this, I never got in to TWU's OT program.

Unfortunatly since I didn't find this out till a lot of OT application deadlines had passed, I had only UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch) in Galveston that I could apply to. I visited UTMB over the spring break and fell in love with the school and it's staff. I had applied as soon as I found out about TWU and I ended up getting an interview at UTMB about 2 weeks ago.

Yesterday I got an e-mail from the UTMB OT school. I didn't make it but I was on a waitlist.

I have no idea how far down on the list I am so I have no idea if it is even possible for me to get in in the Fall. I can reapply in September for the next year if I don't get in.

Meanwhile, I'm feeling like crap, I've got a presentation due Monday, a test on Wed, a bunch of homework due Tues and about 16 more hours to finish in my Early Field Psychology class (internship class basically) before the 6th. And my mom is after me to figure out what my "Plan B" is, this part started when she called me back last night shortly after I told her my news. This was NOT needed as I really just wanted a day that I could feel crappy with out have to think about "now what?" but apparently I couldn't do that, as she was constantly repeating herself about me needing to take the GRE and look at school Psy programs, and think about what to do about a "plan B" ect, ect, for about half an hour.

I also found out that a 'friend' and former roommate had been talking about me behind my back when we were dealing with roommate issues. He was saying I had left all my stuff at our apartment (there were 3 roommates, a couple & me) and they didn't know where I was (I went home for the Summer, which they DID know), and that I wasn't paying for anything (which was a lie, I was paying 1/2 my part of the rent as we agreed upon, and never once did they say, hey we need you to pay your full part because we're having issues when I called to confirm the amount I needed to pay and who the check needed to be made out to), and that I refused to come up and get my stuff out of the apartment (another lie, I was going up in Aug to get my stuff when I found out in the end of July I was being kicked out and that they were getting a different apartment. I was working over the summer so I couldn't just take off suddenly and get my dad and my mom to rent a trailer to get all my furniture and clothes that I had left up there on short notice).

So yeah that's been my week so far. Thankfully I've had no tests this week (those are all next week of course) and I've only got 3 more weeks (SCARY!) till I graduate, and my brother has 2 weeks. This is when I'm glad TCU gets out before we do, it makes my parent's live a hell of a lot easier, they don't have to choose who goes to who's graduation ceremony, the whole family can got to both. I'll just drive over on Friday for Jason's and come back either later that night or Saturday.

So sorry for the long post, but I figured a few of you all on here would want to know what's been going on lately and I need to vent about the former friend/roommate thing.
